I am NOT to blame for the corruption of any budding elephant young that may happen upon this image. The original concept and my overwhelming need to pounce upon it and spatter it with paint is entirely the fault of Chernobylpets. Or, as I’ve come to call her.. Cher ( NOT the singer) and the impending doom of my muse.

Here I was, innocently minding my own business when I notice that one of the artists I’ve got my eye on has uploaded a new goodie. Now, being a loyal little art stalker, I waddle my butt over to her gallery only to find myself confronted with this [link]

Now.. come ON people.. how could I NOT immediately message her and ask if I could paint it? I mean.. LOOK at it. Gahhh. I was lost. I fell instantly in love and the moment I got a ‘sure.. go ahead’ I sauntered off to my console for some serious play time.

Now, naturally.. MY elephant is a fashion snob and requested a fetching red velvet smoking jacket to go with his voodoo martini and happy time shrooms.. but I mean really.. what self respecting mammal –wouldn’t- want to look their best for company?

I had some wicked fun with this.. no pressure, no hard and fast style.. no single media chosen.. I just slapped pixels around until they screamed and gave me something I was happy with. Could it be better? Sure. Would I change a thing? Hell no.
